We are the only hostel with a large pool and jumping platform on the island, making Gili Castle an ideal choice for pool lounging and adrenaline rush!. It’s the perfect hangover cure, and our poolside bar does mean Joss Shots to boot!

Climbing Wall

Climb up and jump! Our unique 6m climbing wall with a tower you can jump off into the pool which is our main attraction at Gili Castle – no other hostel has it! This feature has helped us be awarded a 5-star rating from Hostelgeeks.

Challenge yourself and help cure last night’s hangover with the big jump. Too scared to go that high? No worries… half way up we have a lower platform for the less adventurous. It’s another thing to tick of your bucket list on Gili T.

Pool Parties

Every Sunday join us for our Secret Session Pool Party. Free shots, a live DJ and drinking are a few things to be expected. We join forces with our sister hostel, Gili Mansion, and get everyone together for a day nobody will forget (or maybe they will…) with old friends and new.

It’s great for both the solo traveler looking to meet new people and a group of friends ready to fist pump the day away. We host the best and only real pool party on Gili Trawangan.

We have been recommended to be one of the best PARTY HOSTELS on the island, where you can have an all-day drinking session all week long, drink until you drop, jump in the pool and have a great time with other travellers.

Social Area & Drinking Games

Our social area is designed in the center of the hostel so nobody will miss out on what is happening both in and outside of the hostel. We strive to bring all travellers together to have a great time and make new friends, our motto is “Come as a stranger, leave as a friend”. In this area we play drinking games, host beer pong tournaments and so much more.

Have a favourite drinking game? Tell us and teach the group! Don’t know what the party plan is after the hostel bar closes? No problem – we have you covered with all the information on the hot spots of the island both for drinks and food.

But while you’re at the hostel, our excellent bar staff has you covered with anything from the infamous Joss Shots to one of their specialty cocktails.
